Rachel has worked on thousands of recipes for food retailers of all sizes and specialities, both regional and national, as well as magazines and TV programmes. She has a great respect for local producers of all good British food. Coming from generations of Lincolnshire farmers she knows just how much hard work has gone into the production!
For Rachel, recipe development is all about creating practical recipes for cooks of all abilities, from children upwards, using the wonderful array of British produce that can be sourced locally. One of Rachel’s jobs as a child was to collect eggs from the family chickens. So she’s a natural ambassador for businesses like Fairburn’s fresh Lincolnshire free-range eggs where she regularly assists with recipe development.
Rachel also works with another fast-expanding Lincolnshire business, The Pastry Room, proving that gluten-free pastry, cakes and biscuits can be just as delicious as any other kind of baking.
